Class of 1955 Fellowship program that has placed more than 1300 Princeton graduates with non-profit organizations across the US. http://www.project55.org1300 internship and fellowship alumni; 200 Princetonian volunteers 5 fulltime staff and >100 volunteers 5 fulltime staff and 1200 volunteers ongoing 1989 annual budget of $375,000 all ages Founded on the belief that Princeton graduates should be active, civically engaged citizens Use education, skills and contacts to seek systemic solutions to critical social issues affecting the public interest. Giving by individuals and some foundations, plus the hard work of >200 alumni volunteers. Separate 501(c)(3), with no PU funding See success stories on www.project55.org and http://blog.project55.org Helped start more than 25 similar organizations at other colleges and universities; transferred summer internship program to Class of 1969 Community Service Fund Seeking alumni volunteers and donors at all times
